Our school was recently successful in our application for funding from The Arts Council of Northern Ireland towards the purchase of new musical instruments. We were awarded over £3,500 which has enabled the school to purchase a brand new digital piano, violins, keyboards, flutes and music stands. Mrs O'Neill, Coordinator of The Arts in Ballymacrickett P.S. said: "We were absolutely delighted to find out our application was successful and it has been a great boost for our school and wider community. Music is an integral part of our school life and we are now in the position to offer a more extensive instrumental tuition program to our wonderful pupils. We were also able to use a local supplier, 'A.A. Music' who were very helpful and efficient, even during these challenging times for businesses. We are looking forward to starting our pupils off on this wonderful journey of becoming lifelong musicians!"
