Day 2 at Tullynewbank Stables
Today we started our activities. We learned how to make friends with a horse, how to groom a horse, the different colours and markings on their body, how to feed and put on its head collar. We even got to pick out Casper’s feet! Back in the classroom we used what we had learned in the stables to look at what things are the same and different between ourselves and our friends and how everyone is special in their own way! We discussed how it might feel to meet new people and how we should behave to make people feel more comfortable and build a friendship!
