Thank you James and Josie for bringing mummy to P2! Mrs Breen was very kind to come and teach the primary 2 boys and girls about Programming.
Mrs Breen brought the concept to life and even allowed us to become the little ‘Sprites/Avatars’. We worked in groups to give a series of instructions to make our ‘sprite’ successfully carry out a job.
The children then took this understanding to the iPads, and using the Sratch Jr app, experimented with coding and brought their character to life. This activity encouraged the children to program their own interactive stories. In the process, they learned to solve problems, design, and express themselves creatively on the devices. We had lots of fun… thank you Mrs Breen! 💖🌟
