Glenavy River and Angling Club approached us with a special project to help children in the local community appreciate and care for the world around us. At the start of March we received some Trout eggs into the classroom. The key worker children and children homeschooling were able to observe the growth changes from egg to fry to release back into Glenavy River. They observed up close the changes and monitored temperatures and recorded their observations. On Wednesday 31st March the fry were released into the river.
