Primary 4s have been doing lots of problem solving and thinking during 2 recent investigations. We have learned all about rationing during World War Two and how tricky it was to keep food fresh back then. We wanted to find out which wrapper was best for keeping sandwiches fresh! After planning and carrying out a Fair Test, we found out that a tin box would have been the best. THEN, we learned all about the history of Jellybabies, once called Peace Babies and how they were made to celebrate the end of World War One! We really enjoyed estimating, sorting, tallying and presenting our data in a block graph. We enjoyed eating our Jellybabies afterwards!
