The boys and girls gave Iain from Sustrans a warm welcome today in assembly. He discussed bike safety with the children, especially highlighting the importance of wearing a helmet.
The Primary 7 classes were delighted to take part in some Oobleck experiments with Iain also. They followed instructions on how to make a material that demonstrated how the protective materials in cycling helmets react on impact. The children thoroughly enjoyed this hands on experience. 🚴🚴🚴
